However, reports indicate the situation may evolve. Besides being seen as a backup choice if Álvarez moves elsewhere, Vlahovic’s arrival could become more relevant if Ferran Torres, attracting interest from PSG, departs.
Barcelona currently lacks a striker with Vlahovic’s profile following Lewandowski’s exit. Should the club decide to pursue him, they would acquire a top-quality player on a free transfer given his current free agent status.
