Abdul Aziz Issah, the 20-year-old Ghanaian winger, will return to Barça Atlètic after spending two seasons out on loan. According to Mundo Deportivo, he is expected to take part in the preseason training starting July 20 under coach Juliano Belletti.
Issah had limited involvement in his first year with Barça Atlètic, featuring in only two matches. However, last season he made a notable improvement by playing in 20 games, scoring four goals, and providing one assist. Club president Joan Laporta recently confirmed Aziz’s return during an informal video chat with a fan from Ghana.
It remains unclear whether the loan deal will be repeated with Dreams FC or if Barcelona will complete a permanent signing of the player. Upon returning, Issah will be part of an ambitious Barça Atlètic squad aiming to secure promotion to Primera RFEF after narrowly missing out on the playoffs last season.
Earlier, the club announced new signings including defender Javi Castro (19), midfielder Juan Ybarra (22), and forwards Ignasi Quer (22) and Joni Hernández (18). The loan of Patricio Pacífico (20), who is recovering from a long-term injury, was also extended.
