FC Barcelona has officially confirmed that it expects to receive approval to open the North Stand and further increase the capacity of Spotify Camp Nou at the beginning of March.

The club informs that once phase 1C, corresponding to the North Stand, is approved by the Barcelona City Council, 100% of the planned increased capacity will be allocated to season ticket holders.

The club is awaiting final authorization from the City Council, which is expected to be obtained as soon as possible in early March.

Early expectations were that the City Council would grant the license for phase 1C by January, but it was delayed until this month.

This weekend's game against Levante was considered a possible date for the opening of the stand, which would raise the capacity to over 62,000.

However, delays in issuing the license mean Barcelona will have to wait until early March.

This phase includes approximately 14,000 new seats, primarily allocated to Barcelona supporters.

If the stadium reopens at the beginning of March, the expected price for these season tickets will range between €160 and €264, depending on location.
