A survey conducted among 300 club members for Mundo Deportivo and Estudi Press confirmed the importance of the sports sector in the upcoming elections.

Joan Laporta, former president of FC Barcelona, received support from 58.66% of voters and is especially noted for his sports project based on his experience leading the club over the past five years. Among his supporters, 42% value the sports area more than the social (12.33%) and economic (10.66%) fields.

Laporta's sports profile is strengthened by his bet on Hansi Flick as the leader of a team featuring La Masia talents and winning four matches against Real Madrid in the last 13 months. The German coach openly supports Laporta's reelection and enjoys broad consensus among club members.

Another prominent figure in the sports area is Xavi Vilajoana, a former player for the youth and Barça C teams, futsal captain, and executive from 2015 to 2020. Among respondents, 15.33% value his sports ideas, ahead of economic (11.66%) and social (4.33%) aspects.

In the economic field, Víctor Fon and Marc Ciria stand out. Fon attracts 38% of respondents mainly due to his financial plans, seriousness, and professionalism.

Marc Ciria, though 55.66% express no strong preference, is considered most attractive economically (21.66%), surpassing social (13.66%) and sports (2.66%) aspects. The survey was conducted four days after Ciria's statement expressing desire to bring back Lionel Messi.

Among 19 members highlighting other issues, 36.8% pointed to common sense and 31.5% to realism regarding Barcelona's economic situation.
