Joan Laporta secured a decisive victory in the Barça presidential election with 32,934 votes, far ahead of rival Víctor Font’s 14,385. After the win, Laporta celebrated late into the night at the iconic Luz de Gas venue, with the club’s anthem and Queen’s "We Are the Champions" setting the mood.

Although Laporta will officially take office on July 1, he wasted no time and immediately began preparations. He will share decision-making responsibilities with current president Rafa Yuste, who remains as vice president in the new board.
