Javier Bernal, an 18-year-old midfielder, has scored two goals in the last two Barça matches at Spotify Camp Nou.

Bernal, from Berga, sealed the 3-0 victory against Mallorca following two defeats in the Copa at the Metropolitano and in La Liga at Girona, and also opened the scoring in the 3-0 win over Levante. He celebrated this on Movistar LaLiga.

"They had a chance in the first minute, but my goal gave us calmness. Today I’m very happy about the win and for being able to help with a goal," he highlighted.

Bernal revealed that the team talked this week about Levante playing very deep and compact, and that was the case. "We planned to attack using players from the second line and switch play side to side to wear them down and wait for chances, which finally came."

He confessed, "I thought a lot about my father and my physio, who told me I would score. All goals are special. If Pedri’s return might take away some of my minutes? This is Barça, the competition is very high, and everyone has to constantly seek to perform at their best."
