The final kit choice is made by the La Liga match director via the official 'Kit Selector' app. If any irregularities are noted before kickoff, the referee, together with the Technical Refereeing Committee, may order a kit change to comply with regulations.
Barcelona has previously worn the original 'Mamba Mentality' kit three times this season, achieving one win and two losses. The adaptation aligns with common practices seen in other sports like women's basketball, where kit variations are regularly used for practicality and rule compliance.
