Barcelona have entered the race to sign Rodri. The Manchester City midfielder has reportedly reached a personal agreement with Real Madrid, but the Catalan club hope to hijack the transfer.

His contract expires in one year, giving Barcelona a real opportunity to begin negotiations. Their interest has increased after the serious injury suffered by Frenkie de Jong.

Rodri would be offered a key role under Hansi Flick, alongside Pedri in midfield. Paris Saint Germain are also interested in the Spanish international.
