Club Career

Ferran Torres García is a Spanish forward whose route to top-level football began in the Valencia academy. Official club material states that he was born in Foios, Valencia, started with futsal at the EPLA school, and joined Valencia’s academy at the age of seven. From there, he progressed through the club’s development system and quickly emerged as one of the most exciting attacking talents of his generation. His senior debut for Valencia came on 30 November 2017 in the Copa del Rey against Zaragoza. The club later highlighted that while still a teenager he set important records, becoming Valencia’s youngest-ever player to reach 50 appearances and also their youngest-ever goalscorer in the UEFA Champions League. That period established him as one of the standout young players in Spanish football. In the summer of 2020, Ferran Torres joined Manchester City. The English club officially confirmed that he signed a five-year contract running until the summer of 2025. In Manchester, he gained experience in English football, high-level European competition, and title-winning environments, before City officially confirmed his move to Barcelona in December 2021. On 28 December 2021, Barcelona officially announced the signing of Ferran Torres from Manchester City.
