Club Career

Álvaro Cortés Moyano is a defender in FC Barcelona’s development system who has progressed through the club’s youth structure and gradually established himself in Barça Atlètic. According to Barcelona’s official player profile, he was born on 17 March 2005 in Aragon and joined the club in the summer of 2021 from the youth ranks of Real Zaragoza. He initially became part of the U19B side, and after his first adaptation season he spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan at CF Damm in the División de Honor. In 2023, Cortés returned to Barça and entered a new stage of his development closer to the reserve team.
